Overview
Large screw compressors are brought back to our workshop facility, where we overhaul and recondition open and semi-hermetic compressors of all major brands. These photographs show a screw compressor being handled on the yard and prepared for overhaul by our technicians.
The work
A compressor of this size needs careful handling from the moment it arrives. It is moved by forklift, positioned on the yard and prepared before strip-down begins.
How we approach it
Every overhaul includes a complete strip-down and clean. Parts are checked for damage, tolerances are recorded and checked against manufacturer recommendations, and the compressor is rebuilt with worn or faulty parts replaced to OEM standard using OEM spare parts. Where rotors are beyond wear limits, they can be precision machined back to the original standard.
